The Haunted Fishing Derby

Get in the Halloween spirit with 2 upcoming youth events from the Oak Island Recreation Department! The Haunted Fishing Derby will be held from 5:30 – 7:00 PM on Thursday (10/19) at Oak Island Pier. The event is FREE and for ages 15 and under. Kids can come in costume and should bring their own rod and bait. On Friday (10/27), the Rec Department will host its Spooky Flashlight Egg Hunt. The event starts at 6:30 PM for ages 1-3, 6:45 PM for ages 4-6 and 7:00 PM for ages 7-10. The egg hunt is FREE and kids are encouraged to wear their costumes. Click here for details on these events.
