Promote Like Ann Day

The Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce is honoring Ann Hollingsworth’s impact on the local business community. Ann, a volunteer and advocate of small business, died earlier this month. The chamber will rename its Ambassador of the Year Award to the Ann Hollingsworth Ambassador of the Year Award and will also hold Promote Like Ann Day on Thursday (12/14). On 12/14, simply visit a local business, take a photo outside that business, post it to your social media pages and tag the chamber and Ann. The hope is to flood social media on that day with altruistic promotion of our business community in Ann’s memory. Click here to learn more.
