Brunswick County Veterans’ Coalition Meeting

The Brunswick County Veterans Coalition was established to provide up-to-date information affecting veterans and their families.  It will hold its next meeting on July 10, 2024, at the Cooperative Extension Training Room, Building N, located in the Brunswick County Government Complex, 25 Referendum Dr, Bolivia at 10:00 AM.  At this meeting attendees will be briefed on what Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and what is needed to file a claim for PTSD.  Additionally, updates on Department of Veteran Affairs medical and disability benefits will be addressed.  There are over 40 veteran organizations throughout Brunswick and New Hanover counties who send representatives to Coalition meetings to learn about veteran affairs and take this information back to their respective organizations to share with their fellow comrades.  For more information send an email to its chairman at [email protected].
